TSUTAYA 昭和通り店

This book store/video rental store wasn't anything special. I thought the area for kids' books and magazines was limited. Perhaps, they focused too much on videos, but I did see a fairly good sized area for Japanese comics. The check out area was probably the best I have seen in such a small place. It is self check out and I was easily able to scan items, scan my T point card and use the scanner to pay with PayPay. It was easy and quick. There are staff members on hand to help if people run into trouble, and there were some people unfamiliar with such a system. This made the line go more slowly at times. Of course, to be a more attractive store, they should have a small café or restaurant of some kind there. The building has a DoCoMo shop on the same floor (it is near the front entrance) where I think a café would be perfect. Also, the parking lot is terribly small and difficult to get out of because of the busy street next to it. I was able to find a small street in between Tsutaya and the 7-11 which was perfect for bypassing the busy street.

I use it because it is TSUTAYA, which is the closest to my home.

The attitude of the clerk is very good. Other than that, I think it's a good store overall.

The store is clean and nice, but there are few types of software. Self-checkout is good because T points are increased.

I think it's a store that comes to buy books It wasn't packed, so it was crushed and scratched. The advantage is that it is easy because the cash register is self-service
