Try the shrimp tempura, its amazing. Friendly staff. Easy menu in English. Good hot pot.

Four of us stumbled across this place and had some of the best food we've had so far during our trip to Japan. Very kind owners and English menu made this an all around great experience.

We found this restaurant based on the reviews and are so grateful. Sunday noon Shimoyoshida seemed to be quite empty, almost all the places closed, except Izumiya. It's a small, friendly restaurant, one of the best we tried during our 6 months in Japan so far. Everything is freshly cooked, with perfect quality ingredients. We felt like being guests in a lovely Japanese home, great hospitality. Definitely will return, Thank you!

They take visa/mastercard in a rural area! They also have an English menu. I got the curry rice with tonkatsu and it was really good.

Very friendly staff, wonderful. The raw tuna Don is to die for. It closes at nine but you should be there well before half eight. Only a couple of tables too.
