It's quite a hike to get to the pagoda. The iconic view is actually behind the pagoda overlooking Mt. Fuji. On a warm, clear day it's pretty crowded with tourists. But go early in the morning or in the off season and you're sure to get a good vantage point without a crowd. Just make sure to check the weather beforehand so you can see Fuji and bring your walking shoes.

One of great view of Fujisan mt. Easy direction's path from the nearest train station on the ground. Best time to visit on spring and fall season. A little bit sweat to reach the top of the hill with stairs. And there is access with small road to the pagoda too.

A beautiful and exotic place to visit and explore! It’s one 24 hours but I would highly recommend going there early on a clear day. It gets busy very early and the crowds get big. The view makes the hike totally worth it on many levels.

Try to reach on top of the hill. You'll get better view and the area is not really crowded. Love it

Visited around April 2019. Beautiful cherry blossoms and views from the top of the hill. Only down side was the large number of people, making clear photos difficult to achieve.
