I love, love, love this hospital. Everything is brand new so everything looks very clean. The hospital staff are very nice and helpful and the interpreter, Mr. Lin, is exceptional at his job. It’s my first time here and as a foreigner who could barely speak Japanese, I was made to feel welcome. I didn’t feel intimidated nor discriminated upon as mentioned by some people in their comments about going to a Japanese hospital. I don’t know if it’s because I’m also Asian and could pass for Okinawan but I don’t think so. The hospital has a good vive to it which makes a patient less nervous and more calm. My pre-op went extremely well and they were very accommodating despite the fact that we were an hour late because we went to the old Tomishiro hospital instead of the new one. If that were in an American hospital, they would’ve cancelled my appointment for being late no matter the reason. If my first day here was wonderfully unexpected, I can’t wait to see how they would treat me as a patient during and after my surgery.
I was hospitalized for emergency in October. The teachers and staff are very kind. The building was just relocated and it was very beautiful. The hospital food was delicious with a lot of Okinawan food. Superb view right next to Naha Airport and Senaga Island. I was discharged safely and came back to Osaka (^-^)

The facilities and buildings are excellent

I have to wait 6 hours to take a CT.

It is a newly built hospital, close to Naha City, and is expected to be used more by Tomigusuku and Itoman.
The hospital staff is working hard to recover the patients in the acute phase. After that, we will accept the users who have returned home.
