The closest station to Ishiyama-dera at the 33rd Kannon Sacred Ground in Nishikuni is not here, but is the Ishiyama-dera station on the Keihan Ishiyama Sakamoto Line. However, if you change to Keihan and walk from Ishiyamadera station, which is only one station, a 10-minute walk, it is faster to take the Keihan bus from this station.

It is well maintained and there are many shops around the station. There is a statue of Matsuo Aoi in the station square. JR Ishiyama Station also has a new express train stop and is a convenient station for Keihan trains.
