PyeongChang Olympic Stadium

It was a wonderful stadium set in a scenic location. It's surreal to explore a place you thought you'd only see on TV. It's a bit of a drive from Seoul/Incheon, but it's well worth it. I wish it were still here. The '88 stadium in Seoul is also deserving of a visit, primarily because of its historical prominence in Korea. That one is here to stay.

Like this former Olympic village complex and stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort. Plenty of scenic backdrops for a picturesque memories. And coupled with some iconic sculptures to liven up pictures of the area.

It was really cold but I loved the facility. The restrooms were clean, the small shops were organized and well put together. Inside the standing m the seats were a little narrow so that was difficult to deal with. It would have been nice to have a roof over the facility but I didn't take away from the amazing view of the stars.

Winter Olympic 2018 location. On a great progress and well prepared . In winter this area is probably the coldest place in Korea. I had visited there in Nov. 2017. It was very windy and bloody cold to your bone. You should prepare the hot pack along with the winter coat to enjoy seeing the winter sports competition. Do not miss the ski museum at the ski competition lane. It tells you the history of skiing in Korea with old pictures and timeless equipment.

The area has great views and in the centre of the Mountain Cluster with many activities happening happening. This is the home of both the opening and closing ceremonies. You will also find the Olympic cauldron here for all to enjoy during the games
