This is an excellent museum displaying Korean textiles and the technology and Industry behind them. Explanation is available English for most exhibits.I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and learned a lot about history of Korean textiles, contemporary fashions and a lot of the Cutting Edge technological Innovations In textiles in Korea

Really good at showing fashion in Korea from 1920's onwards, how nylon effected the economy so dramatically, the machinery used and the biggest textile companies. Really enjoyed it! You can also try on hanbok for free and there was a full activity zone for children to learn and be creative.

DTC Textile Museum(대구 섬유박물관) is local museum mainly focused on textile industry in Korea. Exhibition halls have lots of history on textile businesses in Korea. Many things to learn and enjoy with interactive contents. Highly recommend to visit if you live in Daegu or nearby.

First time for me to visit textile museum. For me i think the authority really put a lot of efford to keep all the info and introduce their textile industry to the public. Really amaze me. At ground floor you can wear hanbok and take your tour in the museum. The museum introduce the history till future opportunity for textile. Really good to explore.

This four story museum is completely free, family friendly, and has a lot of information about textiles for both fashion and industrial use. Most of the signs are only in Korean, with titles of displays in English as well. However, the museum is very visual, with lots of displays of the materials and fabrics used. It covers everything from fashion to carbon fiber, nano technology and eco friendly fabrics. This museum is a bit out of the way in Daegu, since it's far to the North and East of the city center, but definitely worth the trip. Plan on spending about two hours here.
