Michuwangneung │ Royal Tomb of King Michu

Was pretty impressed with all the history packed into this area. All within an enjoyable walking distance of each other. walking inside this tomb gave me an appreciation of historical value of everything around here. Nearby is is building where they are currently doing an excavation of another tomb. If time permits, it’s a must see.

So many mounds, so little time. Interesting to check out, but not so great out of context. You would probably get more out of it if you were very familiar with Korean history of that era. That being said, they are still very impressive for what they are.

The royal tomb is small in size but well maintained.

Michuan royal tombs in the center of the temple. It's quite a walk from the entrance to the tomb at the far end of the park. The scale is small, but at the same time, it is understood that this is a special section. But what does that mean because I am not familiar with Japanese people?
