Great place full of Silla history

Beautiful autumn foliage & interesting to see excavation in progress. However, with high winds, there are a lot of dust & dirt in the air so keep sunglasses and scarf handy to cover your face.

The ruins of the ancient palace yard of Shilla dynasty which lasted for a thousand year. The dynasty saw its pinnacle in 7th and 8th century but has fallen in 10th century. Since the fall of the dynasty this palace yard was abandoned and now there stands no single pillar.
