If you only observe the Maae Samjon Buddha, you will miss the large ruins. The site of the Bowonsa Temple is a privately managed space owned by Seosan City and has four treasures. The iron Buddha statue found at the temple site is on display at the National Museum of Korea, and it is presumed that the temple is currently undergoing procedures for restoration work.
