Not sure why some people posted negative reviews here. But I feel compelled to post in response to those comments. I had to visit the embassy for a Visa interview. The gentleman that I had to deal with was very kind and helpful. I had a problem with my paperwork, and he helped me the best he could. Not sure what other people are expecting. Anyway, everyone that I came in contact with were courteous, and I thought the experience to be positive.

The security guy at the door make the mood. Thanks to him he his here to manage the place. Usually date are respected to go pick up the visa or passport. If you call, you will never get your answers, so you better go. There is not a lot of people on the morning. I think you can print there if you need a paper and they have a free wifi connection.

Totally impossible to contact them by phone. Totally unresponsive by email. Totally useless. It's a shame for France.

Reading all the reviews here, it made me lazy going to the embassy as it’s annoying me dealing with rude people for no reason to be rude. However I need to get a tourist visa so I went. The visa section is small, quiet, clean and can only accommodate few people inside. The security personnel is a nice person as he even asked me which city in my country I came from. He politely asked me to sit down and wait for my name to be called. The male interviewer in the 2nd window from the left side, I found him a good person also as he conducted the interview well and spoken professionally. He carefully checked all my documents and scanned some then told me they will call me when the passport is ready for collection. My visa application went well. It took me like 30mins only inside the visa section. I left with happy and smiling heart as this is the fastest and one of the most convenient visa application processing I have been to. Visa processing is 2 weeks and I’m in my 2nd week. I’m still in waiting mode if my visa is approved. I hope it is.

Rude and unhelpful. Lack of clear information and a terrible system of not having an open line to call for queries and all emails get only an automated response. Staff expect efficiency from applicants yet run on an appointment only system whereby one arrives before said appointment yet made to wait nearly 1 hour for the actual meeting and then rushed through it and dismissed. I have travelled to 30 countries - so far the French Embassy is the worst I have dealt with. Next time I go in if things have not improved I will make an official complaint.
