The tombs of the physically weakest king MyeongJong and his Queen Shim. His mother, Queen MoonJeong was too powerful while he was king that MyeongJong has no known achievement. He died 8 months after his mother's death.

We went on an adventure to find a place I found on Naver. This was what was listed, but the photos of the location didn't match. This is a tomb of a king and queen. It was a lovely spot. However, it was a very small fenced in area with not much to see.

It may be better to say that we just stopped by and heard breifly about King MyeongJong whom we don't hear much anout other than his powerful mother Queen MunJeong.

If you get off at Taereung Station and get off at the nearby bus, you will arrive. The parking lot is very small next to it. It is good for a quiet and easy walk. At that time, the trekking course to Taereung was open.
