Beautiful scenery. This gate is the main gate.

Lots of beautiful seanery, tons of walking trails, almost all of the activities are free. Few exceptions being: visiting historic village movie sets and village as well as most daytime parking. If you like mountain walking do not miss walking to all 3 fortified gates. Paved paths, most of them with tree provided shade. Bare foot walking path and refreshing foot pond. Waterfall, outdoor cafes, a lot of Korean historic monuments and landmarks. Quite a few washrooms along the way. Beautiful evening walks as well, pathways and trees are lit up with colored lights. Several hotels, lots of restaurants and cafes both local and international like Starbucks.
