An enormous buddhist temple located between Gwanggyo, Suwon and Yeongtong, Suwon. The temple is a member of Jogye order, which is the biggest buddhism in South Korea. They insist that the temple was founded in 1208, but it was abandoned for few hundred years. In 1971, a female monk named MyoUm became the head monk of the temple. And she re-established this temple for female monk education, which was lacking at the time. Now, the temple is only for female monks and is a hub for female monks in South Korea. They are only female monks in this temple, but they accept male visitors. There is a free parkinglot in front of the temple, but it's 200m walk from the parkinglot to the temple. They offer temple stay programs and buddhist cooking classes.

It is good place to take a breath and have a look on Korean architectures in the middle-age.
