One of my favorite markets to visit in all of Korea. This market has a small stream running through it that doubles as a walking path park. It is also next to the Suwon Fortress. So, it has the famous Suwon Chicken Street next to it. There are some great small restaurants and Korean style drinking places around and in the market. A few museums of art and history can be found close to the market as well. Definitely give this place a look and walkthrough when visiting Suwon.

Old market place in Suwon. Lots of street food and delicious traditional stuff. Especially Soondae street recommanded. But less parking lot and traffic jam.

Interesting architecture of fortress. It is said Sundae here is good. But, we didn't stay much because of fish smell of fishery zone.
