Hidden among hills, a Buddhist complex that offers an amazing experience of familiarizing yourself with the culture of Buddhist Korea.

One of the best place to explore culture of South Korea and enjoy the beauty of the nature If anyone planning to visit the temple I recommend to go on the hiking trails It gives most chilling scenic view of the place I am loving it Good place to hike and also experience the Buddhism to its best A place to have peace in mind You can also stay at the temple to have better experience

Jeondeungsa is the oldest temple in Korea. It was built in 381 when the budda was introduced to Korea, having over 1,500 years history. Every season the temple is surrounded with different color. In autumn, in particular, the surroundings are so beautiful. You could experience temple-stay with other people. You could take a walk before the sun rises and then enjoy a breathtaking view of sunrise. Also, you could take meditation without thinking and talking. Stress-out! Just healing and refreshing! 101 bows time is also good for your mind and body. You might be able to find answers about some worries in your life while talking with the master monk. The last that I recommend to you is bal-u-gong-yang, a unique manner and style that monks have for meals in temple.
