Dunhinda Falls (දුන්හිද ඇල්ල)

Dunhinda Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. It is located about 5 kilometres from center of Badulla in the lower central hills of Sri Lanka. The waterfall is 210 ft high and created by Badulu Oya It is also known as bridal fall, as the shape of the water falling is similar to a bridal veil. Limited parking space available at the main entrance. A nominal fee is charged for parking. There is a distance around 1.5 kilometers from the main entrance to the waterfall. On the way, there is a ticket counter and you need to obtain a ticket to proceed. Currently, Rs. 30/- is charged per person.
