Le Kiosque à Fleurs Marrakech | Catherine Villier

Where do I even begin?! I recently got married in Marrakech at Villa Taj Omayma and Catherine & I had spoken for sometime about all my floral dreams for the wedding (that of course Mother Nature would allow) and to say Catherine of Le Kiosque delivered not only the most beautiful array of flowers from table arrangements, larger bar arrangements, bouquets, pinholes not to mention the most gorgeous flower crown I’d ever seen but also beyond what I imagined/hoped for! I work in the floristry industry in Australia and have seen so much work over the last year entering flower world but honestly never anything as perfect as the work these guys created. I had sent moodboards and even been a bridezilla at times when liaising with Catherine at particular elements important to me for example the use of dry flowers which as you can imagine for a florist takes a lot of time to dry out / source dried flowers as well as how fragile they are to arrange but there was such an array even my husband commented on how perfect everything was, guests too couldn’t stop telling me how wonderfully different and stunning all the flowers were! AND THE CACTUS TOO! Genuinely don’t think I’ll ever get over the scene Catherine created for our big day - it truly made it. It’s so funny how some people don’t think flowers will be ‘remembered’ or aren’t an important thing to budget/worry about for a wedding when it’s amazing the magic they can add to space. I could go on and on at how great Catherine is and was but you get the gist! Also as a word of advice to all future brides, when you pick a florist you pick them because you love their work so trust that they’ll create something beautifully personal to you which Catherine certainly did and more. I can’t wait to receive the professional photos of all the blooms!! A flower guru, genius and a pleasure to have for our big day. Forever thankful! x
