Lunch was OK. Some items were better than others, but I would not go out of my way to go there specifically for the food. The worst experience was when paying for the meals. A good rule of thumb when traveling abroad is to know how much your meal is going to cost when ordering. We knew that our lunch for two totaled 135 mad. The waitress wrote down 200 mad. When I attempted to discuss the discrepancy with her, she quickly muttered something insinuating a miscalculation. The waitress was clearly guilty of overcharging us and was upset with giving us our change. Also, it was still 5 mad less than what we were owed back. Would not recommend this place.

We had a bad experience here. On the menu that was shown to us before entering the prices were much lower than the menu we got when we sat down. In example the tajine increased from 70 to 130 Dihram. We took the soup, which according to the menu, comes with dates and Moroccan pastries. After asking twice and long waiting time we received the pastries, but not the dates. The soup and pastries were okay, but we still felt like it was a scam.

Nice family run restaurant, lots of traditonal Morocan dips/spreads that you give get at other restaurant for breads... Included in price of meal.

Amazing spread of salad starters, an apple clove drink, and orange clove dessert plate accompanied the main dishes. We ordered tagine of cous cous, veg and lamb, which came with a cup of cooking liquid on the side. This was the best couscous/tagine we had in Fez. Also ordered pastilla of vegetables which was fresh and crispy. Everything was delicious and at 160dirham(with a bottle of water) for two people, also the best value we found.
