Having read positive reviews we decided to try this hammam. I would call it an authentic experience at best, but nowhere near pleasant. The place is and looks old, smells of mould and raises great concerns about its hygiene. Very basic facilities, everything is done on the floor, massage room pretty cold so not possible to relax properly. Towels and slippers provided look well worn and not pleasant to wear. No proper changing rooms, hair dryers etc. Wish I better spent 15 eur more and went to a more "modern" hammam.

WOW. What a cool experience! For those looking for an affordable and relaxing hammam experience, look no further! I got the scrub and massage, and my skin has never felt better. It was also one of the best massages I’ve ever received... I wish I got longer than 30 minutes. I got along just fine with very limited French- the staff are incredibly friendly and can tell you what to do without it being too confusing. Be sure to bring a fresh change of clothes (you wear your underwear while you bathe, so they’ll be soaking wet). We were provided with sandals and towels to borrow. Overall, a terrific experience. If we had more time in Marrakech, we would have absolutely gone again. If you’re on the fence about this... give it a try! It’s a great spot.

A non-traditional spa for tourists with great service and massage. Different from the traditional version it had only one instead of three roomes. Here you lie, in a underwear which they give you, on the floor and get cleaned by your personal masseur, who is also in his underwear (15€). After cleaning you can have a great massage plus stretching (+15€). At the end he shampoos your hair and washes with three buckets of water. In reception room you then get back your valuables and are invited to a tee.
