Riad Tahra & Spa

We arrived at the hotel at 7:30 PM, the time we told them we’d arrive. We waited outside on the streets of fes for a half hour with no response. We called and messaged them on all three numbers and no one responded. After about a half hour, guests came out and let us in. We went in to an empty hotel that felt very unsafe. Not a soul was there. We still have not heard from anyone in about a half hour later someone arrived that said they worked there. We asked them where they were and why no one was responding and they made up excuses even though we told them what time we arrive. Not a single soul was in the hotel and the door was left wide open with no lock after The person who was in charge entered. We felt extremely unsafe by the mere fact that no one was even in the hotel to not only a greet us but to make sure no one was coming in and out of the unlocked door. They were extremely rude and we could not be staying in a place that we felt so unsafe and unprotected and especially in this city in morocco. I hope you understand and I hope this would never happen to any other guests at any other hotels ever in the future. We had to leave as soon as we felt pressured by them to have them “let us show us that they are safe place to stay”. We ended up finding a Different Place to stay and a much safer non hostile environment since we are two white women from America staying in morocco.

Its perfect! Nice location, nice price, nice people...

The staff at this Riad are friendly and nice and it was clean. The included breakfast was better than most guest houses I've stayed at before. However, I cannot overlook the lack of heat and hot water, and the very low water pressure in the middle of winter in Fes. Regardless of the price point, an acceptable level of comfort should be provided. It maybe a good place to stay during the warm months, but I can not recommend this place during the winter months in Fes. Probably would never stay here again, to say the less.
