Very interesting. The young girl, Jihan, who works there is very nice and very knowledgeable.

This synagogue was renovated in 2017, but during my visit in October 2018 it was closed. One of the 3 synagogues saved from old times of Jewish presence in this tolerant city of Essaouira.

They’re doing a great job restoring the synagogue. We spoke to the President of the Synagoge & he was very kind & informative. I hope they get the donations they need to proceed with the restoration.

Small synagogue in the Mellah (Jewish Quarters). Cosy little place. Free of charge but you may drop your contribution in a contribution box.
