The restaurant lacated in front of bay, San Maria can serve you to have Italian & European style foods enjoying zephyr. Price are also reasonable. It's really paradise for local people as well as for the tourist.

Tasty food, fare prices, very clean place on a beautiful beach, good for sunsets or to spend all day . Definitely will come back !

I was on my way from Maungmagan Beach to Myaw Yit Pagoda when I passed by this lovely (new) restaurant. Stopped for lunch but ended up coming back for some kayaking, sunset cocktails and a delicious dinner! After some poor dining experience, it felt like I had landed in heaven... No plastic chairs but rattan furniture with cushions, no beat-up tables, no dirty but nice food menu, superb service from waitresses with a smile, some lounge music in the background, clean toilets with toilet paper, and a beautiful sand beach with wonderful sunset. Spoke with english couple who had come back there for the 2nd day. When I ordered a large bottle of beer (at local prices), it came surprisingly in a bucket with ice that they hang on the side of the table. Woww. It got even better. Started with spring rolls which were delicious and had to try one of their many soups which they made fresh. I ignored all the noodle dishes as you eat that every day and opted for the sea bass which came nicely served with special rice I had not seen in the area before accompanied by garnishments. It was fantastic and perfectly cooked. Ended up talking with the chef, her name was Su, who worked before in one of the big hotels in Dawei and Thai beach resorts. Went back the following day for a double expresso from their DeLonghi coffee machine that I was told just had arrived from Europe. Ended up staying for lunch and had Pineapple fried rice with prawn served on part of the pineapple shell before I traveled on south. This new restaurant is the best in the whole area and a must for everyone!! Tip: go there for lunch, visit the Pagoda and then go back for sunset drinks and dinner. Absolutely fantastic place ...

This restaurant at San Maria Beach is a great place right on the sand overlooking the Andaman Sea. There is no sign but you can't miss it because it's the only restaurant on the beach an very visible from the road very close to Myaw Yit Pagoda. It is comfortable in a relaxing atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service and tasty food at reasonable prices. We had the Tea Leaf Salad and the Rangoon Crab Dumplings and both were delicious. Highly recommended!
