It's one of the attractions of Yangon, and I'm glad I came to have a quick glance of what they had to offer. It's rows and rows of books laid out in the open, with books for kids through to adults. It's a pretty interesting sight, although you'll probably not buy anything if you were a tourist. Have a look anyhow!

If you enjoy looking at old books it's a wonderful street market. I really had fun looking even though I couldn't understand the wording. Take a look at the books to learn English. Some of them have very interesting and unique dialog.
