Myanmar Han Hotel

Good service. Very helpful. A pool is always a nice thing to have. Breakfast tastes good and is not the same every day.

f you are looking to escape your day at the temples and the main tourist area Myanmar Han is a good hotel. This hotel is not perfect through a western lens, but by Myanmar standards, it is a great find for a very fair price. For revenue optimisation, US dollar is the currency of choice on property. F&B charges are a little higher than in the main tourist area, all things considered with the room rate being a total steal and I did not mind paying a premium. I appreciated the pool area, oversized rooms, breakfast, laundry service and hot water. JJ Express bus services dropped me off and picked me up at the hotel. This saved me from the need to navigate touts. I arrived around 5 a.m at the hotel and the hotel staff were very kind and offered me an early check-in. Priceless and much appreciated. I rented an e-bike (motorised scooter) for most of my stay as this provided me with the flexibility to head into town and to the temples on demand. The hotel provides a shuttle to Nyang-U a couple of times a day. The staff are great and are empowered to make every effort for a great stay. Aung at the bar was awesome!

Excellent hotel! We loved it here as the staff were all so friendly and helpful, the rooms were big and comfortable and breakfast was good. You can either help yourself to a buffet or are offered fresh omelettes, fresh pancakes or yoghurt with muesli/ granola. The staff helped with everything we needed from Ebike rental ($6 a day and they even came out to give us a new bike when we ran out of battery one day- our fault not the hotels) to collecting us from the airport (5000kyat instead of 7000kyat quoted at the airport) to bringing extra pillows and blankets. We were happy to be a bit further out of town as we had an Ebike to get around so felt we were getting a lot more for our money staying further out. All round great experience here and thank you to all the staff!

Our bus got there early morning and they let us check in right away. It's not an ideal location, but they make up for it with the free shuttle or you can rent an ebike. Good breakfast and excellent service! We appreciated that they had a water bottle to use in the room, instead of having to get water from the lobby.

Fast wifi, friendly staff, delicious food menu, good views from roof top, large rooms with a patio, has a swimming pool and has cheap rates.
