The Sule Pagoda. It is in the heart of Yangon. In the middle of the junction of Sule Pagoda Road and Maharbandula Road. It was built at the same time of The Shwedagon Pagoda. It is one of the most significant pagoda in Yangon and you can find the direction of othre places easily from the point of Sule pagoda. Myanmar people call it 'Cut Kyaw Phayar' means that the pagoda which was passed by the people travelling downtown.

It is a quiet and shady place in the middle of downtown. As for a Buddhist, you can pray, practice mediation and count beads there peacefully. As for others, you can still enjoy the brilliant art works of the ancient pagoda that have been situated there over 3000 years. And there are free drinking water supplies and public toilets for everyone.

Located just in front of Town Hall. Mostly with people and one of the attractions in Myanmar. A must place to go when you are visiting to Yangon.
