it was closure and national museum was move to Nay Pyi Daw already.
Enjoyed my time here in awe of the many wonderful excerpts and artefacts that you can see - all 5 floors of it! You will also be able to see the majestic Lion Throne in its full glory. I really liked looking at all the paintings and the exhibits on the different tribes in Myanmar. Most of the excerpts have English text so not to worry.
However, some parts of the exhibition halls can be quite dark and gloomy. Also, I would not recommend renting the English audio guide.
Huge museum with five floors of fascinating Burmese history. We really enjoyed it but wished we had more time to explore. Some floors are more interesting than others but still lots of interesting things to observe throughout the museum. They will ask you to leave bags, phones etc in a locker outside before entering. You can purchase tickets when you arrive. Some floors appear unfinished and the lights flicker but other than this it was an interesting museum.
Yes, they do really need to fix and adjust something in here, but I do enjoyed my visiting in here. Try to use their free voice guide, because it really helps. Try to grab some information before you go to here about their history also can helps you to fully enjoy your visiting also.
