This Temple was built by the King Kyansitthar. The most beautiful and famous pagoda in Bagan. You can see the good architecture of the first Kingdom of Myanmar. There are four Buddha Statue at four sides of the temple. East, North, West and South. The face of the Standing Buddha Statue at the South gade changes according to the distance form the person who looks to Buddha face. The lion that has two pairs of legs called Manotesiha are placed at the corner of the temple.

Stunningly beautiful with a fantastic atmosphere. The architecture and history of the temple impresses and one shouldn't leave Bagan before visiting this amazing place. The grounds and gardens are also lovely, but it is the temple that steals the show.
