It's a coincidence .. just the moment of my capture and placement angle. Of the sun.

It is perhaps the most emblematic place and the most characteristic monument in Mexicali, that giant concrete cardon at the top of which there is a sphere simulating the sun with a plaque that reads: "The city whose sky captured the sun." It is located in the heart of the buildings of the Civic Center of the city.

It is known as the Monument to the City that captured the Sun, and represents precisely a cardon with the sun in the center. It consists of four pillars and different versions of their meaning, some say they are the four cardinal points and others the four municipalities of Baja California until that moment of its construction, which were Mexicali, Tijuana, Ensenada and Tecate.
