Alamo Rent A Car

Easy! Met us at the airport with a sign, shuttle to and from the airport was comfortable. One of the desk agents spoke good english and no problems with check out. We did take photos and only took the minimum insurance required in Mexico. 5 day rental for around $110 USD

They said we need to buy the 3 million liability insurance, that it was mandatory, the rental went from $220 to $800. I declined and said that Expedia booking has $750,000 mx third party insurance included and they said they do not recognized Expedia site. I said it is optional like it says on their promo card they would not budge so I declined use UBER it is cheaper.

Great! Met us at the airport.

Everything went smooth and when our flight was delayed the accommodated us by respecting the prices.

We did not have a good rental car experience in Merida. We finally ended up here after three other agencies kept drastically raising their prices. This place was no different. We ended up paying over $600 for a tiny compact car for one week. Ridiculous. I've honestly never been so mad at a rental car agency. I called expedia twice over rental car price gouging since I booked through them. Only to find that expedia withdrew their charges because there was nothing they could do. Beware.
