Awesome small local business. Sophia and Lorenzo were great guides and we swam with a large gentle whale shark in clear warm weather. Tough to beat for a bucket list life moment.

These guys are the best if you want to go see the whale sharks. We had a seriously amazing experience. If you want to do a tour, go with Tunatuna.

We went on the whale shark tour in mid January. Carlos was very accommodating and shuffled around some bookings to ensure we were able to go on the day we desired. It was a small group of 4 of us which was nice. The day we went out was cool and choppy but we were set up with wet suits. Our boat left promptly and was the first boat within the exclusion zone. We spotted our first whale within minutes thanks to the keen eye of the experienced driver and our guide Sophia. Although the conditions weren't great we ended up being able to swim with one of the whale sharks for about 40 minutes as it followed the current. Sophia took pictures and videos with her GoPro and sent them to us the following day which was an added bonus! Very professional team and would highly recommend to go out with them!

Just wrapped up our full day tour with Tuna Tuna, 5 stars all the way through. We did whale shark snorkeling along with sea lion snorkeling and a delicious lunch on a secluded beach. Communication was excellent both before and after the tour (we left a small item on the boat during the tour, Tuna Tuna found it and gave us multiple options for retrieving it, including delivery). Everyone we interacted with spoke excellent English. Luis, our boat captain, was great we never felt unsafe despite some higher winds during our tour. Can’t say enough good things about our guide, Erik. Tuna Tuna hires marine biologists as guides whenever possible, and Erik did not disappoint. He was friendly, personable, and full of very cool info about everything we saw - whale sharks, sea lions, sea turtles, frigate birds, and all kinds of fish in addition to the areas geology and people. Highly recommend!
