Remote & austerely beautiful. 5 miles from paved road on roughest corrugated stretch of road (1/13/2021), I drove a 4x4 at about 10mph with everything rattling, so yeah about 1/2 hour from highway. The pic is of a realty sign on one of the 25 acres tracts overlooking the Sea of Cortez, nice view. No sign of building, no electric, no water, just sand, cactus and dunes.

Beautiful drive to the dunes. The road is unpaved and there are spots of soft sand to be aware of if you are not in a 4wheel drive. The area around the dunes is good bird habitat - nice for birdwatching. Nice secluded beach spots.
