Gate was locked with a big no trespassing sign. People seem to slip under the barbwire, but it looked like someone was living by the dam, so we turned around.

Was here for birding. Is this really the site of the dam that killed 1000s? Well, not to worry...it appears well overbuilt now. The walk to the damn is along a dirt road thru some nice baja habitat. Get out and walk but wait for the cool morning.
