Hotel Kali Ciudadela

The hotel itself is pretty good. But the beds are very hard and I had a hard time ordering breakfast since they didn't speak english in the reception.

There is no air conditioning there. It was 11 degrees when I arrived in the evening and I was freezing all night. On top of that walls are very thin and you can hear everyone walking on your and surrounding floors. The air in my room was stiff and smelled bad. Staff was helpful though.

Rooms are newly renovated and spacious. Comfortable beds and strong showers. Plenty of storage space, inclusive of a safe. The area around the hotel is quite quiet and everything close early so there's not many people around after sunset. A relatively short walk to the shopping and historical districts.

It took us a while to find a good little and reasonable hotel close to the Centro Historico. We were extremely happy to have stayed at Kali's hotel for five nights. The staff in general were amazing, patient, respectful, helpful and very pleasant..one of the best I have experienced. The breakfast was fairly good but all in all, great bang for your buck ! To the management team, keep doing what you are doing with the Kali team, my score is 10/10

The place is neat, well organized and newly renovated, doesn't have a spa, pool nor A/C, the weather temperature was cool though (in December). Every room has safe, TV screen, coffee machine and wireless bluetooth ceiling mounted speaker so you can enjoy listening to your music. As general facilities there are; a small gym, a free high speed wifi every where and a spacious free parking area. The inclusive breakfast buffet was good only lacks cheese and more fruits variety. The staff was really helpful and decent specially the restaurant staff except for the recieption guy who first denied the availability of a double room with separate beds until we insist on it, the house keeping was excellent too.
