Estacion Tren Turistico Puebla-Cholula

Great way to travel between Cholula and Puebla FOR FREE. The train is modern as well as the train staitions are newly built and kept spotless. The only annoying bit is the covid precautions are taken too seriously even though I have not seen the train full from more than maybe 10% of capacity the procedure you need to go through before you're allowed to go to the waiting hall takes too long. Nevertheless it's free service so who am I to complaint😉

Hands down the best train in Puebla (hint: it's actually a tram)

Excellent food and service!

You have to wait in line after arriving early. The train is short and modern. The view from the train is an industrial area so the view is bad. So if you've taken a subway or train of any kind, you probably won't find this train raid very touristic.

I WISH THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT REALIZE HOW MUCH THEY ARE LOSING WITH THE LACK OF SERVICE OF THIS VEHICLE. THE TRAIN IS HEAVILY UNDER-USED. IT COULD A GREAT TOOL TO ATTRACT TOURISM TO THE CHOLULA AREA, IF THE TRAIN WAS IN SERVICE CONSTANTLY. TWICE I TRIED TO SEE SCHEDULES, ONCE I WAS TOLD THAT THE TRAIN ONLY RUNS TWICE DAY! WHAT A SHAME. AS FOR THE STATION, IT IS PRETTY- UNDER-USED.
