Hotel Juarez

It is a nondescript, little and hidden hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. While it is simple, it is clean, safe, and the room I stayed seemed recently renovated. For the price it was a very nice deal. I will surely return, but the next time I would ask for a room far from the alley, because on both Friday and Saturday that I stayed there was a party ouside, with loud music until the wee hours of the morning. Nothing a pair of ear plugs can't solve though, but a nuisance nonetheless. It is close to everything, the Cathedral is only a minute away, walking, literally. Right at the entrance to the alley there's a cafe, El Popular, with excellent food and even better coffee and bars, taquerias and all kind of restaurants on a two block radius.

They have been under construction since the earthquake.

Excellent location and price. Two blocks from the Zócalo of the city. It has hot water all the time and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Excellent service, newly remodeled, very calm, we have used it for many years when we visit Mexico City, I recommend it

Good place to rest a lot of privacy and comfort.
