Great hotel, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The food we had the chance to try in the restaurants was great. There are few pools which gives a lot of space for social distancing. The room was nice, spacious and clean

Stayed for 5 nights in Jan 2021. Traveled as a group of 6 and stayed in the 3 bedroom Chairman’s suite, which was absolutely amazing! Honestly surpassed my expectations and looked even better than the photos. It was great having our own hot tub on the balcony that we could use while it rained and if we didn’t want to be in the pools with others. The room and whole resort was spotless and new looking. Diamond club was definitely worth it for us because the butlers made our dinner reservations, and we liked having the top shelf drink options. The food was good throughout the resort, loved the lunch options to take away pizzas, paella, grilled meats and veggies. Was nice having a coffee shop onsite. The beach was clean and we were always able to find chairs and get towels. The only negatives we experienced were likely due to Covid: the nightly entertainment was limited and cramped inside rather than using the large outdoor stage area. Restaurants were only open certain nights (the buffet wasn’t even open every night). And I wish the pools were heated because they were too cold to use in January. We would definitely return!

Be aware of some dishonest staff in this resort and bad management! Very bad and disappointing experience at Royalton Suites Cancun “Sorry, there is nothing we can do” ... Someone took $600 US dollars from my husband’s wallet, in our suitcase and about $3000 Pesos from my purse, our room! Our room was locked and Do Not Disturb sign always on the door. We reported to the front desk and filed the theft report in detail then accompanying by 2 security guards and a staff, they search through the room saying most of the time they found the “missing” items...they found nothing. They informed us they need 24 hrs to investigate and interview the housekeeper who was not supposed to enter to our room with “do not disturb” sign on the door but she did anyway and they need to check the security camera footage...keycard logs to see who entered the room... etc. Sounds pretty legitimate and helpful but in reality, it’s just for the “show” pretending they did something, when we requested to see their report, the manager refused and said they can’t do that... I asked to speak with her manager...she said uh, he is at the other resort... I’m sorry there is nothing we can do... that’s all she said. The day before we realized our money was stolen...We came back from the gym & surprised to see there was a housekeeping cart outside of our room and a house keeping lady was inside with the door closed... we didn’t think too much or suspected anything...well, we had no reasons to at that time, until I was paying for my merchandise at the shopping plaza to found out my money was gone! Don’t let your guard down! “Do not disturb” sign does not mean anything! We have been going to Cancun area for the past 10 years or so and always have great experience till now. Royalton really needs to step up on the integrity of its staff and its customers’ and what a shame, it’s a nice property... but leaving clients with bad taste and since they are not transparent, it gives a shady feeling also...

This was by far the best resort I have been to so far! Not only is it luxurious, but it is now also adults only and the food is amazing. So much entertainment going on, day or night. The workers were incredibly nice and the ocean was beautiful and blue. It's not even a 10 minute walk to downtown strip so it's a great location as well. I highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing luxury hotel . We loved our stay for 7 days, it was very new so they had some hick ups but it wasn’t a big deal . The rooms were amazing , the buffet and restaurants were good enough . I loved having food service at the beach, like who doesn’t love tacos by the ocean .
