NEVER USE THIS RENTAL SERVICE. I was on Kayak and got a rental car through Holiday Auto, which gave me a voucher for America. I was not aware of this at the time. It was a cheap price so I selected it. I did not realize that I wasn't directly purchasing through the America. When we get there, we don't want insurance as I get free rental insurance through my credit card. They say we can forgo insurance if put a 13500 deposit on the credit card and a letter from the bank. Then if we want to get the insurance, it was very expensive. It was $500 bucks on top of the $289 we already paid and I would have to put down a $3k deposit or I could get the insurance with less of a deposit still $1k and it would be $700 for insurance. We declined and left. Ended up going to a different company and we got a car for $380 with no insurance and a $800 deposit.

Absolutely pathetic company, I never write reviews but had to write a review to make sure people stay far away from this company. Booked a car through booking.com only to get the CUN airport where they do not have a booth OR workers on site to direct you. I ended up calling them several times before someone actually picked up and told me they were coming to the airport to pick us up. 45 minutes went by and I called again for them to say they do not have anymore available cars. When I asked about a refund I was hung up on. STAY FAR FAR AWAY THEY ARE NOT WORTH YOU BUSINESS

Note the bad reviews and beware. We reserved a car online on their own website but when we get there they don't have it and want to charge an extra $140 for a bigger car. No I know how Seinfeld got there "The point of a reservation is to 'hold' the car" episode from. Worst of all is their attitude. They just don't care if you are inconvenienced or not. UPDATE: notice their phony post below as if they care. I wrote to their suggested email address below and never received a reply--even two months later.

Accepted our reservation, after getting there they informed us that they have no available cars. Gave us 2 numbers to call, no one knows what to do. We have to open a claim with our credit card company because . Theres a joint close to the 7/11 (PCR rentals) way better service, don't waste your money on American car rental.
