Hospital San Charbel

This is were I experienced the worse medical treatment ever. I has a mass form my chest removed 2 years ago from here and I hope things have changed. My operation postponed for hours with no explanation and when asked the doctor came upset to my room. (I mean we were paying out of pocket and a quick explanation was all that was needed) Nursing staff was not kind and I don't understand what was told to the doctor that he came upset to my room and he continued to be upset up until the moment he operated.I came out the surgery with a swollen lip, probably due to rough tubing. I was blamed and was told that I probably bit my own lip by the doctor. I still remember the experience and I regret going through it and wasting my money. A lot of tears were shed. Don't go here only for the convenience of being close to the border. There are better hospitals throughout matamorros.

On January 14 I had a surgery at San Charbel Hospital and Dr. Salum was my surgeon. Dr. Antonio Salum, gynecologist and oncologist, is an excellent doctor! He is very knowledgeable and patient and has been watching my overall health progress very closely. The services at the hospital was also excellent. The nurses were fantastic, very patient and helpful when I needed them. The room and the entire hospital were very clean. Housekeepers everywhere making sure everything looked just perfect. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of my anesthesiologist but it was a man in his 50s who was also fantastic! Overall, I'm very pleased and thankful with the service I received at San Charbel Hospital and their fantastic team. Sorry, I wasnt able to take more pictures at the Hospital.

This place doesn't let family members see a newborn baby and siblings are sad and disappointed

Terrible attention. I do not recommend this clinic. It even seems that you are asking them for free.

In my experience the doctors are very good, very educated, knowledgeable and very professional. But I think that the receptionists, especially the assistant or receptionist of Doctor Zuñiga Vite, need training on how to treat the client or the relatives of the patients and the patients who with great need and not for pleasure are going to see a Doctor. And more in this difficult time. We must be more considerate of families than we have a sick relative.
