Detailed description of access route by a combo of regular rental car and hiking: Drive paved road thru Higueras, across bridge, then cobblestone changing to good dirt road. Beyond fork in road (descends to balenario), in stretches the dirt road gets rough, steep, with drop offs; so I recommend parking at this fork. Walk left fork down to balenario, continue down alongside stream (your feet can be kept dry), at Oasis entrance follow trail outside right wall, go up to foot bridge, cross over stream, then walk dirt road to foot bridge (a tough vehicle can be driven here, passing by way of Adjuntas village) , walk across foot bridge over main river, walk dirt road thru tiny village. Road ends and becomes foot path, follow path to cross stones placed in river, follow trail 10 minutes to pool at canyon beginning. To continue into actual canyon you must wade thru water.

Absolute the wonder of nature

Excellent place to visit, do not throw garbage, on the way we find beers, bags of food, there are certain areas where garbage collects and the road begins to deteriorate, bring water shoes to enjoy the experience more, the water reaches you up to the waist in certain areas, you can camp, bring a change of clothes because surely you will go swimming, in the background you can see a small spring and can go up to a viewpoint to camp, if you bring pets, be responsible, since there are animals in the area area that are free and can hurt them.

Cañón del Paraíso is naturally beautiful, I do not agree that they modify or alter the natural flow of the river, since they are putting cement, stones, to make "pools", naturally it was already really beautiful. If you are a visitor: please collect your garbage.
