Excellent park surrounds the facilities, ideal to remember you a bit while you enjoy your stay in Malinalco, the main entrance is damaged but you can access any of the rooms with designs on its walls quite attractive.

This impressive building is located in the first square of the municipal seat is made up of the Convent of the Transfiguration and the Church of the Divine Savior. The Convent was founded in 1540 by Augustinian friars, where indigenous people worked for its construction, always supported by the financial support of the encomendero Cristóbal Rodríguez de Ávalos. The ground floor of the convent building and the church were built at the same time, concluding in 1560, as the high cloister is thought to have been added around 1580, what is known for sure is that by 1568 the installation was expected of the boxes and it is said that the painter Flemish origin Simón Pereyns worked for this site.
Gastrotourprehispánico Malinalco (04/23/2019)
A jewel of the colony. The Augustinians were among the first mendicant orders that were established in Mexico and did a wonderful job. It is the center of the population and a portent in medioeval art with the murals painted by tlacuilos of the Imperial school of San Juan Bautista de Tlatelolco students of Sahagún. A treaty of ethnobotany restored for the enjoyment and social enjoyment and the learning of the botanical culture of Mesoamerica and even gastronomic. In the Gastrotourprehispánico de Malinalco is a must stop.
