El Faro Lighthouse Bar

I believe the lighthouse is permanently closed due to covid. We were so disappointed.

You're at the top of a lighthouse what's not to like? The drink was OK, the food came from a mysterious place but was hot, and the view was great. I love the 80s music, my wife not so much.

Beautiful view of the marina and they have a full bar including mixed drinks and blended mixed drinks. They also have a pretty decent beer list and an extensive wine list. Plus the small elevator ride to the top is a neat little experience. We will definitely be here again the next time we visit Puerto Vallarta.

The experience was very cool! Great views and our waiter was outstanding!! We liked all the food but we were hungry so we had to order a few appetizers . We came back 3 times during our visit.

Stay away from this place!! My wife and i went up for a evening cocktail to enjoy the views and ended up getting food poisoning. We aren’t sure if something was off with the two over priced drinks or the one order of spring rolls we got. Excuse my details but the projectile vomiting and diarrhea throughout the night was pure evil. Never have we experienced anything like that and we’ve eaten street food in Thailand before. This lighthouse pretends to be a high end restaurant with drinks costing 140peso and appetizers at 180 pesos but clearly it lacks in sanitation worse than the small taco stands throughout town. Do yourself a favour and don’t chance it !
