Restaurant Bar Canto del Mar

This beach bar/restaurant is one of our favorite ocean front places in Puerto Vallarta. It’s great for just a drink or dinner. I do think they could improve their selections lunch. On a recent visit, our favorite waiter, Felipe, took great care of us. We had their wonderful coconut shrimp and chicken fajitas. The employees of all our local restaurants have had a very tough year, please patronize them and tip generously.

Nice place on the beach. Good food and service. The hamburgesa was hand made and tasted good. The Crab tacos were okay, several bits of shell made them less appetizing.

Came here expecting an overpriced restaurant with average tasting food. Was happily surprised with the quality of service and delicious food. The chicken nachos were cheese-heavy (Americanized) and tasty. The shrimp tacos came out on a hot skillet with the waiter pouring tequila on the skillet for added steaming effect. Wish I could have caught it on video. Would return here if it wasn’t our last night. The rooftop was under a little construction but still usable. Rooftop seating filled up around 18:00 right before the 18:30 sunset.

Best seafood mix ever.They had it on menu for four people but they made no problem for us to make it for two.Everything grilled and in amazing sauce. Can't wait to come back to Puerto Vallarta for this meal!

My husband and I stopped to eat here while exploring downtown. The food was so good, the portions were good size and the service was awesome too.
