This café is popular for a reason! It is a nice place to get a coffee or tea and buy a used book. There’s a section for LGBT books, which is appropriate for this community. You’ll also find classic novels here, which is a plus! The coffee is of fair quality, although not the best I’ve ever had. My favorite item on the breakfast menu is the omelette. The cream cheese bagel is decent for Mexico!

I buy used books here, and they take them back for half what I paid in credit towards more books. Always fun to browse, I hear their coffee drinks are great too. Art work of various media also. Beautifully displayed.

At first glance you may not see to many vegan options on the menu but I was able to remove the cheese from the Vegetarian Tortilla, which was like a quesadilla. It was super delicious filled with beans, mushrooms, spinach, and broccoli. They also have decaf coffee and homemade chai. The vibe in here is super cultured since you are surrounded by books and art. A lovely place to read or have a good chat with a friend or a lover :)

Great customer service. It's lovely to walk in a see art, books and coffee altogether! They have a trade in book as well. Ask the main cashier for more information.

The store: Eclectic, musty and crusty "shabby chic" sans the chic. Weird, some creepy, mid sized sculptures adorn the left hand wall (facing out). Don't take pictures, or... Small gallery with mostly touristy paintings in the back. A handful were very good. Book shelves full of books. Dog friendly! Dog merch! Dogs save the day! They have my respect on this. Found a nice Playa Muertos T shirt but sadly few were left. Ambience: None, unless you positively enjoy elitist music (it goes well with books). Fancy feast darling? The Location: Close to the beach. The Coffee: Not bad. They sell coffee bags with fun, quaint names. The Offerings: Diverse The Service: Meh.
