Pros : Amenities Nice view Good reception employees Cons : High price with 10% increase after one year, I moved to another place Making you pay for everything despite the already high cost : lights, forgetting your key... You have to get down for every delivery, which I ´ve seen almost nowhere else in Mexico City Administration is not reactive and maintenance can be bad, I once stay blocked for 4hrs because the access of my appartment was running low on battery... Worst part is that depending on where you are, you can end up facing temperature higher than 30 degrees celsius, and conveniently, Nomad is renting you an air conditionner for 1500 pesos (80 USD) more each month... It is a scam. Now that I moved out, they are taking forever to give me back my deposit of 2 months ! Btw, 1 month is more common for deposits as well. So overall, I would not advise someone to rent there as there re way more cons than pros and other choices in Mexico, don´t be fooled by the advantages for expats, you can find it elsewhere !pa

I lived in Metrobuilding (originally Vyven then changed Metrobuilding and then to NomadLiving) for 2 full years. As an expat, it was easy and conventiently located from my office in Polanco area (8-10 min by car). THE GOOD: The amenities are nice: rooftop pool with great view, club room, and 24h gym... my one-bedroom apartment looked nice, and moderately sized for the area (average/slightly above average in size), parking garage was ok and easy to use. Location is centric and close to many main avenues. There's a coffee house and pharmacy right next to the lobby. Bathrooms are nice and spacious. THE BAD: There were however several living issues with this building. First the security and and staff were abnormally unhelpful and unsympathetic even with the tiniest of issues, saying "no" to no any requests. They charge you FOR EVERYTHING... moved into my "new" apartment and had to replace over 6-7 lightbulbs in the course of 1 year and a half... leds are supposed to last over 5 years... so... and they charged me for each one of them even after breaking after only 6-7 months of use. The building administration/management (an admin assistant and an accountant guy) were inneficient and almost rude... they make you go downstairs to receive any delieveries (groceries, pizza, medicines, etc.) which is a huuuuge CON in these type of "luxuxry" buildings. My apartment (facing poniente/west) was extremely hot during summer (over 30 celcius) and very cold during the winter (below 4-5). They increased my rent twice during my stay (very year) with increases well over the usual market standard... after the second year they increased my rent by almost 30%... ABSURD, which prompted me to move to better newer building closer to Polanco with the same amenities for only 8% more of what I paid there. They have so many prohibitions and absurd policies that you never feel quite at home (rather at a snobish yet not so fancy hotel)... even after 2 years like me. I would recommend to single executives looking to rent for short periods 6 -12 months. Then move to a place you can feel your own.

Lago offers the best and most convenient option for renting an apartment in the Nuevo Polanco area. Full Disclosure - I work at Nomad, and we strive to provide the best service possible to our residents.

I lived in Metrobuildings (Changed to Nomad Living) for a year. The biggest living issues came from the security and staff. Bringing guests was always a big hassle and they changed the policy by the end of contract to no longer include gas or electricity. The rent I paid was around $18,200 but I knew others with same layout and cheaper rent. Also the heat was ridiculous on one side of the building
