Uma Iguanario Coopalytan

Agustín is the man who runs this Iguanario. He has a permit from the government to breed two types of Iguanas. He does not charge, but was more than happy to except a donation to assist in his efforts. He seemed to only speak spanish but I could be mistaken. He explains with much enthusiasm and respect about these reptiles. Even though his place may look primitive to most. He has the ability to breed and take care of these iguanas. He eventually releases the iguana back into the jungle once that have reached adult hood. Once you cross the bridge coming from Huatulco first left down a dirt road. His place is then a the end of the street to the right. Just by hearing him speak about these iguanas, I could tell he has compassion for these animals.
