In Mexico there are more than a hundred magical towns, some are set designs, others have deserved the appointment for some tradition or craftsmanship, however there are some that by their extraordinary state of preservation have been worthy of the distinctive. In my opinion, the word "Magic Town" is an excellent proposal that is worth retaking and reconsidering the values and heritage of the locality that wishes to participate. Recently I had the fortune to visit the state of Zacatecas and I found it interesting to deviate from the usual route, to find the old Camino Real de Tierra Adentro; first, because it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and second, to know the small towns that are located on such an important route. Thus, we advanced along the road for a few minutes, we managed to see in the distance six enormous "cranks" that announced the industrial development of a town in a colonial era; In this way, we arrived at the small and incomparable town known four centuries ago as "Real de Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion del Cuzco and discovery of the Sierra de Pinos mines, founded on February 12, 1594, the date on which possession of the the silver "¹. Since then it has stood out as a mining town in which its development in the quantity and quality of its civil and religious constructions is evident, highlighting the old convent of San Matías, which was not concluded for some reason -now the parish- and that with the over time they gave form to a charming conglomerate of beautiful portals, colonial lattices and picturesque facades. My surprise was accentuated more, as my discoveries continued, until reaching a little portal called "Villalpando", a plaque explained its history: "This house was inhabited for a time by Mrs. Francisca Bocanegra Villalpando, mother of Francisco González Bocanegra , poet and author of the lyrics of our National Anthem ". Now, the magical town "Pinos" will be part of my memory and will be remembered as a place that knew how to value its history. See you soon. ¹The Municipalities of Zacatecas, memory and heritage, Coordinator of the work Manuel Manuel González Ramírez, Chronicle of the State of Zacatecas, 2018, p. 323

The clock tower is an iconic place for the municipality because it has been running for a long time but it is not a place of re-relevance to ascend it has a spiral staircase until reaching the end where the clock is located where not everyone has access to it, to most people are only visible
