I travel all over the world, and I LOVED City Express Plus! I stayed for 8 days because of a dental surgery. The rooms are spacious and clean, very nice view. It's also a walking distance from many sights! I felt so safe here. The staff is super friendly, amazing cappucino machine in the lobby. The lobby was actually my favorite part, it reminded me of the movie The Blade Runner from 1982 somehow, maybe it's the lighting. I loved coming there at night. The only thing to fix is probably "do not disturb" tag - i was staying in the room for 8 days, recovering - it was a little uncomfortable with the staff knocking on the door every day asking if i needed cleaning, which i didn't need.

During Pandemic: Really pleased with our experience and stay. The hotel rooms were very clean decnt price and our stay included breakfast which they brought to our room. It included fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, fresh fruit, bread and ham and eggs with beans and potato

Breakfast was not even hot or warm I should say.. Some of the rooms have a building very close to the window which sucks ..

Dealing with It (10/16/2020)

It's a basic Mexican hotel with first world prices. The place is a ghost town due to the lockdown. No amenities, no room service, gym is basic and only one person allowed at a time, no sauna, no laundry, no nothing. They do have coffee in the lobby at least. There are only a handful of employees. It's just a room to crash in but the price is rather high at 84 a night. At least they have a door guard to prevent homeless from living in the lobby. They do provide a very limited breakfast but buffet is only on weekends. The breakfast is usually beans and chips, coffee and juice. During the week they just bring it to your room, wrapped in plastic. Portions are tiny. They provide 1 tiny bottle of water a day as well (unless you have bought larger bottles of water, then you get nothing). If there no water in the room you get an 8 oz. Bottle of water. TV is all spanish except for one or 2 stations. They have CNN in English but I cant stand that station so the tv stays off. I'd call it a 2 star hotel.
