We have taken several of our pets to Dr. Alexander and are always taken back by his obvious passion for helping animals. His prices are more than fair, and he doesn't look to trick people into paying for more than what is necessary. One of our dogs accidentally ate a seed that was toxic for her, but by the time we got her here she was already very far gone. He sat on the floor of his office in tears with my mom and sister, and that to me showed his true colors and love for what he does. These doctors, their advice, and treatments are FAR more advanced than American Veterinary Medicine, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest, and truly intelligent group of people. They don't take you through loops holes like all the vets here in the states. Honest, hard working, and diligent people. Thank you for all the help you've provided over the years, our family loves you.

Did not like this place, took my dog 3 days consecutive, was given antibiotics incase it was a bacteria infection. The veterinarian told me if it was a viral infection my puppy wouldn’t survive. He had a 50-50 chance, they never did the proper testing they were just giving out medications left and right and my pup was not responding well. Went to another veterinarian in Rosarito called Leon and within 30 minutes they had to test testing positive for Parvo. My pup is well now, I will never go back to Alexander. They do not give you proper documentation of what they are doing to you pets.

Dr Alexander was recommended to us by the Mexivet transport. We had used other vets in Tj before but were willing to try someone new. He was absolutely fantastic. He is very professional and curious and took excellent care of my fur babies. Gracias!

Great care. Did cleaning and also extraction of my dogs abscessed tooth on my cockapoo. Surgical removal of benign tumor on my Tibetian terrier.

Being a rescue we work with many vets in San Diego and one other here in Tijuana. We had an urgent situation and the vet we normally use could not squeeze us in so we reached out to Dr Alexander and couldn’t have been happier with our decision. We were able to be seen right away. The dog we brought in was not the easiest patient but Dr Alexander and his staff were not concerned and were very gentle. They were very matter of fact and thorough, and addressed all my concerns. The dog I brought in I suspected having a partial bowel obstruction and was very concerned because due to his size a surgery like this would’ve cost the rescue approximately 8k stateside. Dr Alexander was able to diagnose and locate the obstruction and remove it without surgery for a minimal cost, and our dog is doing great. He spoke perfect English so it was easy to communicate with him. We are so grateful to Dr Alexander and his staff and look forward to bringing back many more pups.
