Walmart Merida

Amazing Walmart located in one of the most beautiful places in Mérida, I honestly love this one, it's my favorite Walmarts. I can always find what I need and it has great variety.

As it turns out Walmart's are a upscale store. We were staying in town for a month so of course we need groceries. So there prices are a bit higher than say chedraui or others. But the selection at the other stores won't be as great (speaking from a US consumer point of view) There are a couple of Walmart's in Merida. (Of course, it's a huge city). We are staying in the city center and get a car on the weekends to head out of town. We actually like the Walmart Campestre store better even though they both have pretty much the same thing. I will say though there is a better wine selection at this one vs the Campestre store. Super clean, super organized store. They also have a subway and mcdonalds as part of the store.

Great selection and prices. Long wait in line, however.

somewhat well stocked, big, but the fruit and vegetable selection seems from a different latitude (extremely poor)

Even with restricted entry, one person is able to block an entire aisle with their cart sitting crossways and behind out in the aisle.
